The Healing Circle
How are the mind and body related? Why is their relationship important for our health? How can we experience the connections between our mind and body? How do we practically use this information in our daily lives, relationships and profession? Come join us in experiencing answers to these questions.
The Healing Circle, founded by Jayashree J. Ashok, is a community of people practising ways in which we can live peacefully with ourselves, our families, schools, communities and environment. We find ways in which we can let go of negative states within ourselves empowering us towards right action. As we heal ourselves, we naturally spread the peace we find within to the circle of loved ones around us in our homes, schools and communities. We find ways to enhance relationships around us. We learn to let go of negative emotions within us and connect with others through our own lighter selves. We empower ourselves to take right action (when necessary) from a state of genuine compassion. We find ways to connect peacefully with our environment by becoming more aware of the choices we make. We find opportunities to transform ourselves into becoming the change we want to be.
Healing practices include acupressure based techniques for emotional healing and greater mind-body awareness. The primary technique used is Emotional Freedom Technique along with deep breathing exercises. We also practise physical meridian stretching, tapping, self healing massage and meditation. This group provides a flexible community for ongoing support, group practice sessions and sharing of ideas and experiences.
